From Vilanova

Kyra and I are staying in Vilanova, outside of Barcelona.  We are with a great family who put us up last minute, they saved our lives.

This is a day trip we took into Barcelona to see Sagrada Familia.  It's the first of many videos to come about Gaudi (you're in luck rugnetta).

We'll be working on a farm soon (not the one in granada, they turned out to be jerks).

We're doing well otherwise, the farm thing through us for a loop, but now we're back on our feet.

Every 5

The first 5 seconds of every clip I took on our walk home.

I'm still in Barcelona, we went to a park today with a labrinth.

El Seminario

I'm living in Barcelona for a few weeks, this is my first morning in the Seminario where we are staying in a kind of dorm.  Last night 50 Judo students showed up at midnight to stay with us, from Valencia.

Stay tuned.

In My Mind

I'm staying in NYC and I woke up one morning to the rain.

I thought about Vermont.

I'm back in Boston, getting ready to go to Spain for 2 months.
First I'll be in Barcelona, drawing. Then I'm going to Granada to work on a farm.
I'll be posting plenty of video so you can come too!

Carp Caviar

For Bottom Union

We snowshoed in the night before, with the moon, made dinner, attempted a fire with green wood and ate pancakes in the morning. This is our hike out. I led the trip with my friend during our last weekend of school. I was somewhat silent the whole trip, you know when you rather not lead the sing alongs?

When in doubt, get a tattoo.
This marks the end of something really big, and the beginning of something even bigger.

Apologies for the lack of videos, but hang tight. I just finished a difficult term in school and I'm now in vegetable mode. More to come soon.

For hours and hours everyday.

I stuggle a little bit to actually call myself an artist. I go to liberal ARTS school and I study Architecture, but I'm not an artist. I'm not a designer, but I like to imagine how things could be, which I think qualifies me as something. Honestly, it makes no difference what I am or what I study, but I get into trouble when I have to "demonstrate advanced work" for my senior year.
Shit.

I'm back at school!
This term i'll be learning to weld, doing some studio re-design, taking physics and a little architecture history spattered about here and there.

I am now certified to scuba dive, so lock your pools up and hide your boat keys.
Our instructor was a big salty pirate, Captain Ron.
If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.
And the dumber you are, the tougher you gotta be.
We did our first two dives at Vortex Springs.
This is part one.

I tried to have a yardsale.
You know something is wrong when Jesus and Mary paint-by-numbers don't sell.

i went to Vermont

Finally, I can post again! I went to Vermont to visit Elissa, Andy and Emmy the little star. Their little spot in Vermont is beautiful and I'm so glad I could go up for a day or so to swim and eat raspberries.
Thanks for having me you three!

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few, currently my computer is flying in the mail somewhere. My three-week-old computer was having issues and it was flown first class to get fixed (not really, but it is getting fixed).
I will be in Florida soon, united with my beloved technology. And from there I will post until I cannot post any more, promise.
Until then, check out Josh's blog, he's my favorite:

Until then,

this summer job

This is my summer job.
This is a very Ryan influenced video.
My posts-to-come will be more involved in learning about the world.
You learn something everyday, and I want to document that a little and see where it takes me.
The book you see me reading during the lecture is The End of Oil by Paul Roberts. So far the book is great, I'll let you know more about it soon.
