This is a re-vlog from The Sister, ryan, over on the other coast.
Very well put together, check it out!
In response to "hey, where did you go?"
I graduate in 23 days.
I have a show going up in 2 days with the rest of the senior visual arts majors.
My job started in Boston so I'm commutting back and forth from VT when I can.
Classes and final projects are at full tilt.
And oh yah, I was about to sell my car after graduation, but the tming belt went.
How's that for a sassy answer?
Hey, check out the wiki about my Senior Project:
This is a longer one.
Don't be afraid to comment, I know you're out there watching (australia). Even if you want to tell me what you had for breakfast. I want dialogue, even if you think my stuff sucks, or you don't care for anything I do. I don't really do all of this with a specific audience in mind, but if you're watching, I'm curious about you.
Music by The Books, actually there are a few spoken parts in the music, not recorded by me.
I'm back in Vermont for my last semester of school!
I've been thinking about ways to put myself out there in my videos. My videos have become little snap shots of my life, which isn't bad, it's just getting old. I have this formula and i can follow it quite well, but now i need to try something else.
Things get crazy at school and it's hard to even think about video, but we'll see what comes out.
When in doubt, go dancing.
This is the Casa Mila, by Gaudi. Also known as 'la Padrera', or 'the quarry'
We spent our last day today at our farm outside of Sant Pere de Ribes, in Los Valles Altos. Our boss was an expat from the UK who took off for france our second day. She was in the process of moving so we packed up boxes and boxes of dusty books for her. there was another french girl staying with us who could only speak french and Spanish, so in our three languages we got by pretty well. It was quiet up there, we found some old elvis tapes and drank coffee endlessly. Some video to come with that.
Should be home soon, though I wish I could stay forever!
love to all
Here are some moments from my time in Barcelona with Donald and the architecture kids.
The reading i included is from "how Proust can change your life".
music is Ani, i know i know, but you wouldn't have even known if i didn't say anything.
also, check out joanna's trip to barcelona (if you watch closely, kyra and i pop up in there)!
Kyra and I are staying in Vilanova, outside of Barcelona. We are with a great family who put us up last minute, they saved our lives.
This is a day trip we took into Barcelona to see Sagrada Familia. It's the first of many videos to come about Gaudi (you're in luck rugnetta).
We'll be working on a farm soon (not the one in granada, they turned out to be jerks).
We're doing well otherwise, the farm thing through us for a loop, but now we're back on our feet.
