mirrors

During a break up last term, while I was moving out.

Things seemed ok that day.

This was interesting, watching what you were watching through the camera, but also listening to the song...

soothing video
&
detaches myself
from myself,

i'm captivated by the motion
and colors,
the sounds wash over me
like
waves of words i do not understand
but have heard through thoughts~ having
experianced...
familiar feelings.

Catching up on your videos here. I loved how this seemed ritualistic and philosophical... Following the frames of those things that contain our image. Hmmm...

While my main thing is poetry [I am a National Slam Poet from New York], I am fascinated by [and aim to start one] video blogging. And MOST video blogs seem really dumb.... but yours are quite fascinating... I particularly liked this one and then the voice over one. You seem to have a unique voice and treat this as an art form, as you should.

I am coming to Vermont with my girlfriend this Thursday [05/25] to perform at the ONLY Barnes & Noble in the whole state of Vermont. Come to my performance if you can... I would love to chat with you about video blogging... I think I could learn a lot from you. And, as a slam poet, I promise to be highly entertaining.

Vlogging (about) a break-up. Good for you. I haven't been able to do it yet. Maybe someday...
